Rod clamps

Set of clamps for connecting and two rods, to make arms for holding stuff.

Parametric design, size can be adjusted for metric hole sizes (m3 - m10)

There's also a design for a base clamp, but i haven't tested it yet

Light Switch Plate (Pialplus)

Light switch plate substitute for Pialplus (Brazilian brand).
This is for 3 switches.
In the future I'll do others switches configurations.
To print it I used PLA, 15% fill and it works nice.

Weird Squid

This smooth, chubby, 4-tentacle squid does not look much like a squid. It is 3 inches tall and more of a toy than anything else. I think it is printable, but may need supports.

Under-Table Headphone Hanging Hook

I hate leaving my headphones laying on the desk, but I couldn't find a good sized-hook or mount for them. This is sized to slide onto a 1-inch thick surface, and hold headphones beneath the desk (especially if you put a little anti-slip putty on the side that sticks on the top of the desk. It will print on a Thing-o-Matic, but's probably too big for a Cupcake.

Maximum angle test

This is a test of maximum angle that can be used without scaffolds. From right to left the angle from the vertical are 50,55,60,65,70,75.I printed this width my BFB3000 in PLA.

Undercheese lego piece

This is a lego piece that lego does not make. The "cheese" piece is a 1x1 sloped SNOT. This is the upside-down version of a cheese.

This currently has not been printed (ToM is down for maintenance), so my sizes may be off a little.

Experimental Prusa X-carriage with auto tightening belt

I take my extruder on and off my Prusa to change out the hot ends often. I love Greg’s X carriage, but I find it takes some fiddling to retighten the belts. After seeing this, neat thing thingiverse.com/thing:16730

I wanted to try to build that concept into the X carriage, and while I was at it, try to reduce the hardware parts count. I tried to utilize the concept of a Drop Clamp which self tightens as strain is put on the wire. My thing is fixed on one side of the x carriage, and the other side uses the self tightening idea.

As an afterthought I added one screw, and bolt hole (M4 or 6-32) to use if required to add a bit more tension if your belt still has some slop.

The LM8UU bearing holder was copied from this thing, and then modified to suit my needs.
thingiverse.com/thing:15219

This was more an experiment to try the idea, as opposed to a finished product. I wanted to share with the community in the hopes that maybe it might inspire someone to build on the concept and reduce the hardware count.

Thing-O-Matic/Mk7 Heatsink Upgrade

tl;dr - I upgraded the heatsink on my Mk7...

I was having problems printing with the Safety Orange ABS using my T-o-M/Mk7.

By the time I got the toolhead up to the temperature I needed to extrude reliably on the hot end (225C) the cold end was getting too hot and the feed wheel was chewing into the filament stopping the extrusion half way through a print.

I tried upgrading the fan, and the z-axis but without effect. Plain ABS and Red/Blue both worked but I can extrude them at much lower temperatures.

Luckily I had some left over 2mm copper plate that I used to make the HBP.

So far, so good.

Made a sketch in OpenScad because things have to have a file that isn't an image... Perhaps it will be useful if someone makes this on a cnc.
